How do you play this game?
The best way to learn how to play Advance Wars is to go through the "Field Training" mode. Field Training will teach you everything you need to know about the game.

How do I earn a higher score and rank?
Rankings and scores are based on three criteria: how fast you completed the mission, how many units you destroyed and how many units you lost. You can re-play missions to earn higher scores, and the game will save your highest ranking. The highest rank is S -- Special Ranking.

How do I earn more coins?
You'll earn coins for completing missions. The amount of coins you earn is based on your score. You can earn a maximum of 12 coins for a score of more than 900 points.

How do I get to the Campaign Mode?
You'll need to finish the last Field Training mission to get access to the Campaign Mode.

Who is the best CO?
Although it is possible to finish any mission with any CO, each has their own CO Power. For beginners, Andy and Max are probably easiest. It can be challenging to win with Sami in some missions.

How do I use the CO Power?
You can use the CO Power only when your CO Meter is full. The CO Meter gradually gains power as you do battle.

What do I do with the coins?
You can use these to buy new maps in the Battle Maps shop. You can also use them to unlock new COs, but you'll have to finish the Campaign first.

Can I make the game more challenging?
Yes. Hold down the Select button before entering Campaign Mode and you'll play in Advanced Mode. You'll face stronger enemy opposition, but win more coins if you complete the mission.
